The property is a magnificent Scottish family home, set in two acres of natural woodland and featuring an impressive elevated garden overlooking Pitlochry. The house was built in 1875 and has been carefully refurbished to retain all of its original character.
On arrival guests are welcomed by the richly coloured walls and dark wood paneled hallway. The wonderful Victorian origins of the house are evident in the lounge, which features high ceilings, original period features and impressive, pine-framed windows.
All of the bedrooms at The Birchwood Hotel are unique. All rooms offer en-suite facilities and feature colour co-ordinated linen, curtains and comfortable bedding. All rooms naturally feature TV's, self-dial telephones and hospitality trays. For the added comfort of guests, electric blankets are also provided.

Birchwood has a small, well-stocked bar for the exclusive use of diners and a relaxing and comfortable restaurant with views out onto the soothing greens of the lawn and woods. The menu is modern and imaginative, made from only the best Scottish produce. Most dietary requirements can be catered for and naturally there is an excellent selection of wine from around the world to complement your meal.
